This set of 2 red, white and blue vintage print potholders / hot pads will be a great addition to your kitchen décor.
Each finished hot pad / potholder is generously sized at 8.5 x 8.5 inches.They are handmade using a strip pieced technique from my scrap stash featuring summery cotton fabrics from the Back Porch collection by Me & My Sister for Moda Fabrics. These potholders are lined with a layer of cotton batting and a layer of InSul-Brite, a heat reflective material. Due to the metallic nature of the Insul-Brite do not use the hot pads in the microwave. The bright blue star binding fabric was machine stitched on for extra durability.
Care Instructions: machine wash or hand wash in cold water. Smooth and lay flat or tumble dry with low heat. Iron if desired.
These quilted potholders can be used as hot pads on your holiday table this year, candle mats, or as mug rugs for your favorite beverage.
