Use this quilted, oversized 12 x 17-inch hot pad to protect and decorate your countertops or tabletop from hot dishes. It is perfect for a 9x13-inch casserole dish, cookie sheets, or smaller baking dishes.

I used high-quality quilting cotton fabrics from my stash. The whimsical fabric prints feature traditional Christmas colors of red and green, with an adorable cardinal scene in the center. The inside is made with two layers of Warm & Natural cotton batting. The reverse features a red complementary cotton fabric.
