I'm Karla, and I'm thrilled to introduce you to my small business.
Crafting has been a passion of mine for many, many years, starting with sewing clothes for myself and my Barbie dolls. I feel such pride and pleasure transforming fabric into items that are both beautiful and functional.
I began my online e-commerce journey on Etsy selling personalized baby gifts in 2010. In 2020, I opened a second Etsy shop selling handmade home decor items.
After 14 years on Etsy, I decided it was time have an online storefront of my own, so giftsbykarla.com launched in April 2024.
I am a wife to a great husband, mother of 3 adult children, Grammie to 3 beautiful grandkids, and the proud owner of an enormous fabric stash!
